The Apex LP224Y was designed to split two sources down to one OR join two mono sources to a stereo input. The inputs are coloured white for LEFT and red for RIGHT. This is perfect for taking a stereo source and adding it to a 1/8" input (synth to phone or computer in, for example). Conversely you could take a stereo signal out and send it to two inputs on a mixer.
